Who processes the data

Personal data received through the forms on define.kz is processed by Define, Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.

What data we collect

Through the website’s forms we receive only the data you enter yourself:

• the name you give us;
• a contact for our reply — a phone number, WhatsApp or email address, as you prefer;
• the description of the task you provide;
• optional details: an indicative budget and the type of task;
• technical data about the request: the address of the page the form was sent from, the language version of the website and advertising source tags (utm) if you followed such a link.

We do not collect identity documents, payment details or special categories of personal data through the website.

Why we process it

The sole purpose is to contact you about your request: to clarify the task, prepare a proposal and correspond with you about the project. We do not use this data for advertising mailings and do not pass it to third parties for marketing purposes.

Legal basis for processing

Processing is based on your consent, which you give by ticking the corresponding box when submitting the form. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us — after withdrawal we stop processing and delete the data unless we have another lawful basis for retaining it.

Where the data is stored

Requests received through the website are stored on a server located in the Republic of Kazakhstan. This complies with the statutory requirement to localise databases containing personal data of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Who we share it with

Only Define employees who handle requests have access to them. We may use third-party services to notify the team of new requests and to maintain our client database; the list of such services and the terms of data transfer are being finalised and will be stated here before each of them is connected.

How long we keep it

Request data is kept for as long as necessary to work on your request and for any subsequent contractual relationship. If we do not go on to work together, the request is deleted after a reasonable period or at your request.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses web analytics services to understand which pages are useful to visitors. Analytics collects anonymised information about visits; personal data is not passed in page addresses.

Your rights

You have the right to find out what data of yours we process, to demand that it be corrected, blocked or deleted, and to withdraw your consent to processing. To do so, write to us via the form on the website or using the details on the Contact page.
